Support Mexic-Arte Museum by becoming a volunteer.
We know your time is valuable and your talents are appreciated. We
need your experience and support to keep our mission alive.
| Mexic-Arte
Museum Volunteers are needed for the following types
of duties: Museum
Store
Knowledge of sales of various Latin,
Mexican and Mexican American products. Office duties, filing,
greeting public, and answering phone.
Docent
Work directly with the public as a
tour guide for school groups and adults. Public speaking is
required.
Gallery Sitter
Weekend position. Serve as a security
officer, making sure the art work is not touched and rules
are followed by guarding the art and anwering questions.
Events Volunteer
Short-term placement for one-time
events such as Taste of Mexico, Dia de los Muertos, Noche
Navideña, and other fundraisers.
Office Assistant
Assist in bulk mailing, errands, filing
and bookeeping.
Special Events
Assist in a variety of projects for special events: Día de los Muertos, Taste of Mexico, Noche Navideña.

Volunteer positions are open to all individuals
over 18 years of age who meet the qualifications below.
-- Interest in Mexic-Arte Museums’ educational resources.
-- Interested in working with a diverse public and staff.
-- Integrity to represent the institution and oneself with the highest
standards.
-- Dedication to the Museum’s mission and values of the volunteer
program.
-- Reliability to consistently keep one’s volunteer commitment
to the Museum.
-- Committed to one year of service at the Museum.
-- Interest in working for a non-profit organization.
Volunteers
are the heart of Mexic-Arte Museum, contributing their talents, enthusiasm,
and energy. Volunteers are rewarded by the opportunity to network,
and gain awareness of Latin American art and culture through knowledge
of the Museum.
